Virtual Isle Solutions and the CCID Volunteer Development Team Announce the Phase I Completion of the CCID Project.

1,311 hours were invested entirely by a diversified group of volunteers from locations worldwide to achieve the technological goals of a 3 website integrated Business Model Project for a cross-disability non-profit organization. This organization seeks to bridge the gap from poverty to independence for the disabled and non-disabled community.

Virtual Isle Solutions and the CCID Volunteer Development Team have announced the completion of Phase I of the CCID Project.

On the 5th of August there were 1311 hours invested entirely by a diversified group of volunteers from locations worldwide. The number of volunteer and intern hours has been tracked from start to completion and is expected to quadruple by the date of completion of the final phase.

The Chamber web site will be accessible from the same location as always -- http://www.Chamber4Us.org/. The new site has been seamlessly integrated over the existing site with a new look and accessible interactive programs. There was no visible downtime during the integration process.

Development on the fundraising site, Low Cost Prescriptions (Phase II) will begin on August 12, 2002. This Phase is expected to be out of development and fully operational before the end of 2002.

Thank You to all of the volunteers, interns and individuals who have so graciously donated their time and talent to Phase I of the CCID Project.

Mission Statement -- The Chamber is a national cross-disability consumer volunteer organization that uses business principles to improve the economic status of people with disabilities.

"Bridging the Gap from Poverty to Independence" -- CCID as a national 501(C)3 non-profit organization, promotes self-sufficiency and economic advancement through the dedicated utilization of online technologies, providing computer literacy resources and programs, low-cost computer access, & employment resources for the disAbled & non-disAbled communities. CCID is one of the first of its kind to actually have its members receive a stipend rather than paying any associated membership fees.
