Work-at-Home Mother believes in "Pay It Forward" Philosophy!
Mom Packers to celebrate Augusts Home Business Month by using the "Pay it Forward" philosophy!
Lansing, Michigan business owner, Evelyn M. Leon, an independent Watkins Associate(http://www.watkinsonline.com/eleon), joins other Mom Packers to celebrate Augusts Home Business Month by using the "Pay it Forward" philosophy!
Augusts Home Business Month offers Leon a chance to reach out and bring awareness to a unique, free, program that helps put an end to feelings of isolation and fear that are often associated with running a home business.
The Mom Pack (http://themompack.com) is hosted by Lynn Korff of Korff Originals (http://korforiginals.com). Korff started The Mom Pack when her business began to take off as a way to "Pay Forward" all the wonderful help she received from other work-at-home moms. It started out as a free partnership/advertising campaign where small businesses gathered each others business information, placed them in packs, and delivered them to clients and visitors via orders, fairs, and home shows.
Over the years, The Mom Pack has grown to become both an online and an off-line network of women who meet in an online forum, hosted by yahoogroups.com, to support, help build, and market each others businesses. Today, The Mom Pack has grown into a group of women covering all 50 states. And the "Pay It Forward" philosophy has not died. In fact, it has only grown stronger over the years. Fellow Mom Packers are not afraid of competition when they dish out help.
Ms Leon has been an active member for over 2 years and has found The Mom Pack not only to have expanded the reach of her business connections, but has also found it as a valuable networking tool with other mom's who work from home. "This is a wonderful medium for all of us "little people" to have an equal foothold marketing, as the "big boys" do, but with more of a personal touch," says Leon. She goes on to say, "Besides the chance to advertise our businesses, we have become a cheering squad, a sounding board, and a forum to bounce ideas for each other."
"The Mom Pack is about moms learning to build or grow their businesses, then turning around and paying it forward by helping others do the same," says Korff.
The Mom Pack may be found at http://themompack.com, where one can find discussion boards, swap meets, web rings, banner rotations, and an official Mom Pack Member Business Directory.
