VICTORVILLE, CA- This summer the music industry gets a katscan. Southern California based Katscan Promotions, is currently celebrating its grand opening as an artist development company. The company follows the growing trend of helping independent artists help themselves. Its operators wish to do more than promote artists and help them gain a broader fan base.
We want to help educate these artists about the industry," says Kat Given, founder of Katscan Promotions. A lot of artists dont take the time to find out what is happening in the industry. They waste hundreds and thousands of dollars on empty promises in the industry. We want to help artists make the industry work for them, not against them."
The goal is to create a one stop band shop." Katscan will offer press kit development, artist development packages, distribution, e-mail/phone consulting, website design/hosting and Internet access. They also hope to add equipment rentals and studio services to its band shop" in the near future.
