Digipower introduces their new DPS-9000 and DPS-9000S digital camera lithium-ion powerpacks.

Brooklyn, NY -- Mizco International, Inc., made an announcement regarding their line of auxiliary powerpacks. Mizco has introduced the Digipower DPS-9000 and DPS-9000S, Lithium-Ion powerpacks for digital cameras. Digipower improved on their older DPS-8000,8100, and 8200 powerpacks by adding new features and higher capacity batteries which increases shooting time. The DPS-9000S is equipped with the same features as the DPS-9000 but strictly dedicated for Sony cameras and camcorders.

The DPS-9000 is a complete package. Compared to other competitive models, this Digipower product includes all cables required to work with your camera. A multi-voltage power supply for recharging on any country, as well as a 12 volt DC charger, for recharging the battery pack on the road are both included. A major feature of this pack is the 5 volt step down connector cable. This cable allows usage with most 5 volt cameras making the powepack compatible with over 200 digital cameras.

The DPS-9000s is designed to work strictly with Sony cameras and camcorders. The package includes the compatible sony connector cable and utilizes the recharging cable included with the sony camera or camcorder to recharge the pack.

The DPS-9000/9000s weighs less than 6 ounces and simply attaches to any camera tripod mount. The 1800mAh lithium ion power pack has been tested to last over 500 shots while using the LCD screen and flash on most shots. The powerpack also has an LED battery gauge which indicates the remaining battery life.

The DPS-9000 is available at Ritz Camera Centers, Circuit City, Best Buy, Comp USA, and digital camera retailers throughout the US.
