LeapPoint Technologies hires Keith Gallant as V.P. of Sales and Business Development

ANN ARBOR, MI - August 8, 2002 - LeapPoint Technologies, Inc. announced today that Keith Gallant became Vice President of Sales and Business Development effective July 15, 2002.

Mr. Gallant brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the telecom and datacom industries. Prior to joining LeapPoint, Mr. Gallant was Vice President of Strategic Alliances at HarmonyCom and was responsible for global sales through their strategic channels.

Mr. Gallant began his career working as a systems engineer for a PABX distributor. From there he joined TSB International, a manufacturer of enterprise telecom management solutions. While at TSB, Mr. Gallant participated in the launching a U.S. subsidiary to sell and support products direct to the U.S. market. From TSB, Mr. Gallant joined Open Networks Engineering (ONE) where he managed sales to major accounts. Mr. Gallant has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario and contributes a breadth of knowledge in telecom and datacom spanning both enterprise and service provider markets globally.
