Gilson, Inc. Announces a Completely Integrated LC/MS Autopurification System

A strategic partnership between Gilson, Inc. and Thermo Finnigan combines respective expert knowledge and technologies to create the NEBULA LC/MS Autopurification System. This new system is designed to provide unmatched throughput, detail, flexibility, and precision for combinatorial chemistry, pharmaceutical, and biochemical applications

Gilson's 215 Analysis System is integrated with the power and precision of the Surveyor® MSQ to produce this versatile LC/MS solution. Based on the workhorse NEBULA Series System, the 215 (single probe) is used as an injector and fraction collector, offering flexibility to collect and inject on the same bed. Samples can be added on the fly for increased flexibility. At just 30 cm wide, the Surveyor MSQ is the smallest single quadrupole MS detector for classical HPLC available on the market today. MSQ technology allows operation of your MS for longer periods of time with dependable accuracy and reliability. The MSQ interface is ideal for non-volatile buffers, enabling longer periods of continuous operation.

Complete control via Gilsons UniPoint System Software provides an integrated solution for purification and trace quantitation. Fractions can be collected based on MS or UV, and full-scan MS data is collected on every sample. Selectivity of MS-based fraction collection leads to fewer non-hit" fractions for you to sort through. Chromatographic trace is generated from the summed extracted ion chromatogram of up to seven masses. Real-time traces from both MS and UV/VIS detectors allow on-screen comparison of your results.
