ARNOLD WORLDWIDE HAS NEW PRO BONO ACCOUNT: CHRISTMAS IN ST. LOUIS
Marketing Agency Will Produce Collateral Material for Not-for-Profit Organization
August 15, 2002, St. Louis, Missouri ... Arnold Worldwide-St. Louis, a full-service advertising and marketing agency here, has a new pro bono account: Christmas In St. Louis (CISL), the not-for-profit umbrella entity that organizes and promotes major holiday events in the metro area.
As part of its pro bono commitment, Arnold Worldwide-St. Louis will produce informative, new marketing literature for CISL, including the organizations Holiday Calendar of Events," which will be distributed free throughout greater St. Louis early this November.

CISL is best known for promoting the gala Holiday Festival of Lights" that occur in downtown St. Louis, in St. Louis County, and in more than 40 suburban communities, plus the annual Mid-America Holiday Parade," a hugely popular event that typically attracts more than 85,000 people to downtown St. Louis on Thanksgiving morning and TV coverage across the Midwest and Southern United States.
Since its origin in 1985, CISL has promoted numerous charitable causes and diverse activities that make the holidays special in metro St. Louis. To date, CISL has supported more than 100 individual charities, creating greater awareness of their benevolent efforts while attracting more donations and volunteers.
By supporting holiday lighting, decorations and special events, CISL helps boost St. Louis reputation as a magnet for tourism, shopping and entertainment during the holiday season. The CISL slogan is A Special Time in a Special Place."®
Major corporations, small and large businesses and individuals donate annual funding for CISL activities. Additional funds are generated by sales of colorful holiday sweatshirts. All proceeds from CISL initiatives support holiday events and charitable organizations in greater St. Louis.
