Specialty Healing Shop Moves to New Location
A Healing Place moves to new downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, location to better serve clientele
Lincoln, Neb.-A Healing Place, a specialty healing shop, has moved to a new location at the Burkholder Project in downtown Lincoln, Nebraskas Haymarket District. The move for this previously home-based business is part of a plan to market the shop to a larger audience and establish it in the grief counseling/healing niche.
A Healing Place, owned by Lincoln resident Connie Backus-Yoder, is the parent company for C.J. Originals, under which Backus-Yoder produces specialty quilts, wall hangings and liturgical fabric arts.
The liturgical fabric arts covers altar pieces, banners, priest chasubles and deacon vestments," said Backus-Yoder. I have made several liturgical and altar pieces for St. Marks on the Campus Episcopal Church. I also make specialty quilts for individuals who have an idea they need to put into fabric, such as memory, energy and healing quilts."
A Healing Place also provides books and workshops concerning grief and depression, music, and Healing Touch® therapy.
