New Equestrian Club Focuses on Miniature Horses
The California Amateur Miniature Exhibitors & Owners annouce the formation of this club and it's first event.
Vacaville, CA -- August 14, 2002 -- The Miniature Horse breed is the fastest growing segment of the equestrian industry, based on growth of horses registered. Prices and quality of these horses are soaring. Recently at public sale, a Miniature Horse stallion sold for $72,000 and a Miniature Horse mare sold for $80,000.
Miniature horse fanciers are encouraged to join the California Amateur Miniature Exhibitors & Owners for their debut event, the First Annual Family Picnic. The bring your own box lunch" picnic is scheduled for 11 AM to 2 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2002 and will be held at the Heather Farms Park, 301 N. San Carlos Drive, Walnut Creek, CA . Attendees are asked to bring pictures and information about their horses for a chance to win a box of Dark Horse Chocolates.
California Amateur Miniature Exhibitors & Owners (C.A.M.E.O.) was formed in early 2002. C.A.M.E.O. differentiates itself from other California-based Miniature Horse Clubs by focusing solely on the needs of Amateur Exhibitors and Owners. C.A.M.E.O. aims to be a friendly, supportive club, fostering a sense of esprit de corps in its members. Members share resources and knowledge while building a network of other Amateur exhibitors and owners for horse-related sales, advice, and training information. Club activities are social, recreational and educational in nature.
