The winners of the Great Internet Based Mom Search 2002 have been announced. The community of work at home moms is growing at a fast rate as parents look for economically viable options for having a parent at home with their growing children. . InternetBasedMoms.com's yearly website awards look for moms with innovative online marketing ideas. It's not always easy to compete with the dot com giants and these awards help provide further exposure to these mom-made business.

Websites were judged according to their content and were required to provide valuable information to their visitors; they were not just merely tools to generate sales. They needed to have something that made visitors return to the site over and over again.

In addition, the winners reached their target markets and content was well written and easy to understand. The sites were in tip-top shape; they were easy to navigate, there were no broken links and pop-ups were used minimally and tastefully.

The top three winners for 2002 are

Marsha Jordan has created a site to bring hope to seriously injured or sick children. In addition to asking for support, Marsha's site also includes information about Cancer, Leukemia and inspirational stories.
