MUSIC PUBLISHER SEEKS SONGS
Long-time Hollywood music publisher, Janet Fisher is seeking songs for specific projects for her company, Goodnight Kiss Music. Fisher keeps the doors open to everyone, as long as they send quality material and send exactly what she asks for.
Aug 26, 2002, Hollywood, CA -- Latin Rap, true Reggae, original story songs; these are all the types of songs Goodnight Kiss Music publisher Janet Fisher is currently looking for, and having a difficult time finding.
First a songwriter for various film and music projects, Fisher started her publishing company in the early 1980s, when she was asked for songs in styles she did not write. "I started calling my circle of songwriting friends, asking, do you have any Metal?"
She believes that as the music industry changes, so do the requests for film music. "Both TV and film execs are asking for current music trends," says Fisher, "but the fun of working in film is that there is still room for nostalgia and more artistic forms of music than what's in the top ten during any given week."
"Writers and artists come from everywhere and anywhere. All we ask for is quality and that you send only what we ask for in our online newsletter. It's free, like all of our information at our website."
Fisher has long-time, respectable credits. I'm going home to check out the site, then try to write a Latin Rap song.
