Arula Acquisition Allows Leading KVM Technology Company to Expand its Remote Management Portfolio.

Somerset, NJ, (PRWEB) August 23, 2002 -- Raritan Computer, Inc., the leader in keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) access and switching technology, today announced that it has acquired Arula Systems, Inc., in a stock and cash transaction. Arula develops and distributes management appliances that are used by a growing number of enterprise IT organizations and network management service providers. Arulas solutions provide secure, Web-based access, monitoring and remote automated management of servers and data center devices from any location in the world. The companys customers include large global and Fortune 500 companies with remote offices and data centers.

The Arula acquisition will add advanced remote serial console technology to Raritans current and future KVM solutions.
