POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--August 21, 2002--RTP Corp. recently announced the promotion of Paul Shoemaker to the newly created director of distribution position.
In his new role, Shoemaker will focus primarily on strengthening relationships we have with our current distributors in the United States and Canada, while also seeking opportunities to expand our distributor network as appropriate.
Shoemaker has been a regional sales manager for RTP's southeastern region for the past eighteen months and has demonstrated a strong technical competence in RTP systems. Prior to coming to RTP, Shoemaker was a successful outside sales representative for a large, multi-state distributor and became very familiar with distribution processes. As RTPs southeastern regional sales manager, he manages three distributors in a territory that extends along the Atlantic coast from Florida to New York.
We look forward to--and hope that others within the industrial controls community will join us in their support--in what promises to be a very exciting future for both Shoemaker and RTP Corporation.
Founded in 1968, RTP Corp. is a developer and manufacturer of high-performance industrial data acquisition and control systems.
