POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--June 24, 2002--RTP Corp. recently announced the appointment of three sales personnel, Mark Barnett, Stefan Zak, and Jerry Duque, to coordinate sales and marketing efforts in the southwest U.S. and Latin American process control markets.
Mark Barnett and Stefan Zak join RTP as regional sales managers for the southwest region of the U.S., covering Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, in addition to Alabama and Mississippi. Barnett has 14 years experience in control systems engineering, including business development and sales for Matrikon International, upgrading of gas plant and turbine control systems as a control systems project engineer for Kellog Engineering, and account management for Foxboro Company.
Zak joins RTP from Advanced Engineering Specialties where he was vice president of sales. Previously, Zak worked in sales management for over 16 years with Rockwell Automation.
"Based on my previous sales experience within Texas, and considering the growth of the Texas market over the past 12 months," Zak says, "I believe that RTP will continue to keep its customers satisfied with the introduction of new and innovative products that feature the same high level of quality and reliability found in its current product mix."
Jerry Duque joins RTP Corp. as the new director of sales for Latin America, responsible for developing distribution channels for RTP industrial control products for the Latin American market. Duque comes to RTP from Sollers Consulting, Inc., where he was the sales and marketing manager. Prior to Sollers, he was with Honeywell where he held a number of diverse management and technical positions and was responsible for marketing research and business development for the oil refinery, chemical, and petrochemical industries, and managing indirect channels for Latin America.
"My extensive experience in industrial automation and controls," Duque says, "as well as my experience managing indirect channels, will be of great value to RTP's rapidly growing customer base in Latin America."
