Local Childrens Pastor goes Up in the Air" for kids
Rev. Fred Cobbett will actually be living, 24/7, on a billboard over a freeway for a week to raise awareness and money for children's charities. It will take place during the week following 9/11 memorials and be in conjunction with over twenty other Assembly of God Ministers. Details at www.upintheairforkids.ag.org
Beginning at 2: PM., September 15th, 2002, the childrens pastor at Calvary Assembly of God on Atlantas north side, Rev. Fred Cobbett, will move into his new home just off of Interstate 285 at N. Peachtree Rd. for the next week. However, unlike most homes, Cobbetts new accommodations will not allow him to enjoy running water, windows, or even a door-but he will have plenty of fresh air and a great view of traffic from his new billboard home!
In an effort to raise awareness and financial support for 4 Assemblies of God Childrens Charities, Pastor Fred" is joining about 25 other childrens pastors in camping out on billboards all across the country.
