May of 2002 marked a momentous occasion. The release of the greatly anticipated collection of poetry, Collapsed on the Wings of a Sigh. Its author Tracey Michael Lewis earmarked the event with a book signing held at Manhattans swank Flute Champagne Bar. After which it was tastefully followed by the formal reading at New Yorks renowned Nells.

Collapsed is a passionate and poetic journey through the life of a woman who has gone through the joys and pains that life has to give. Each poem represents a lesson, each lesson containing the harsh realities and pleasures we all experience.
Exploring issues that include depression, self esteem, sexuality and self-awareness are just some of the situations that this collection delves into.
