Launch Of Bluechrome Publishing" Celebrated With Competition For Short Story Writers And Poets in aid of the MS Society

New book publisher bluechrome celebrates its launch with a competition for writers and poets in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Bluechrome, an imprint of Portishead, North Somerset based Web and Marketing Specialists Knowledge Mine Solutions Limited, have announced that Fifty Winners will be selected for inclusion in the bluechrome 2003 New Writers Anthology" to be published in December 2002.

The competition is open to all writers and poets and gives the winners a rare chance to be professionally published and distributed. All proceeds from the sales of the Anthology are to be donated to the MS Society.

Closing date for the competition is 30th September 2002.

Mark Davidson, Director of Knowledge Mine Solutions says:
In launching bluechrome we wanted to approach publishing in a new way. We believe that unknown or niche authors are either being ignored by traditional publishers or ripped-off by the vanity brigade and that this is preventing good writing being made generally available.

We want to take an ethical approach to publishing and offer good writers a fair deal. In launching bluechrome, we wanted to set our stall out by donating proceeds from our first release to a local charity whilst giving new writers a chance to be published"
