VAN DORN DEMAG APPOINTS FROHRING AS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Scott R. Kroeger, Van Dorn Demags Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has named industry veteran Glenn W. Frohring to the position of Northeast Region Sales Manager. The appointment is effective immediately.
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Aug. 23, 2002 -- Scott R. Kroeger, Van Dorn Demags Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has named industry veteran Glenn W. Frohring to the position of Northeast Region Sales Manager. The appointment is effective immediately.

Frohrings territory covers Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Working through sales agents, he is responsible for sales of the companys full line of injection molding machines. This includes those formerly sold under the Demag Ergotech USA name, which became part of the Van Dorn Demag brand under an alliance the two companies announced last month.
Before this appointment, Frohring was product manager for numerous Van Dorn Demag machines. He played a significant role in the success of the Newbury Series, North Americas most popular family of vertical injection molding machines, as well as in developing the innovative Praxis Series, the first line of two-platen vertical machines. Frohring was also recently responsible for the large tonnage Caliber Series, the Spectra Series, and the small tonnage Cadence Series.
Frohring headed his own manufacturing rep agency (Falls Plastic Equipment Sales), handling Newbury and other, related equipment before joining Van Dorn Demag in 1996. A graduate of Ohio University (Athens, OH), he is a senior member of the Society of Plastic Engineers.
Like Kroeger and Larry Doyle, Van Dorn Demags marketing manager, Frohring has plastics in their blood:" his father, Glenn H. Frohring, founded and was president of Newbury Industries. Van Dorn Demag acquired Newbury Industries in 1996 from Heico, Inc.
