ChildServ a private, not-for-profit organization that has been helping children and their families build better lives since 1894, today announced the launch of their new Web site at http://www.childserv.org, aimed at those with an interest in the lives of children and families.

CHICAGO, Ill., August 26, 2002 -- ChildServ a private, not-for-profit organization that has been helping children and their families build better lives since 1894, today announced the launch of their new Web site at http://www.childserv.org, aimed at those with an interest in the lives of children and families.

The new site goes live on Tuesday, September 3rd and will serve as an information resource to the Board of Trustees, volunteers, clients, community members and other stakeholders of ChildServ, by providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive agency information and facts. By clicking onto the Web site, users can gain immediate access to program and service information, current agency news, brochures and newsletters. In addition to the valuable information, the site also features a bright new look, user-friendly navigation and design, an event calendar, access to volunteer and job opportunities, as well as resource links to other organizations with an interest in children.

We are proud to launch the new ChildServ site," says James C. Jones, ChildServ President/CEO. This Internet site is an example of using technology for a very compelling purpose -- linking an organization that cares about children and families to a community that cares about children and families. ChildServ has a 108-year mission of helping children and their families build better lives and we are committed to continuing that mission. This new Web site is one important way we are achieving that goal," adds Jones.

The ChildServ Web site will raise community awareness, recruit foster families and volunteers, provide general information and referral sources to prospective clients and partners, provide answers to frequently asked questions about ChildServ, as well as include the capability to accept online donations. In the coming months, ChildServ has plans to add program and service information to the site in Spanish.

For more information on ChildServs programs and services, visit ChildServs new Web site at www.childserv.org on September 3rd.
