MLB Strike: a unique perspective
Expert offers perspective on potential MLB strike.
I am the co-author of the book Stranded: A Guide to Life Without Major League Baseball. I wrote the book last year in anticipation of a lockout in late October with the expiration of the CBA. As we all know the tragic events of September 11th resulted in a no lockout pledge from the owners. However, the current situation for MLB appears to potentially be grave.
I have a degree in Economics, a JD, and last year I completed my MBA at Ohio State. I dedicated a significant portion of my academic research to the history of the MLB labor situation.
My book looks at this history. It also offers a solution for the players and owners. And provides alternatives to the fans should a work stoppage occur.
I believe I have significant insights I can share with your readers and would welcome the opportunity to share these insights through an interview with one of your reporters.
The book can be found on BN.coma and Amazon.com, as well as my website drafthelp.com. A story about the book and can be found at: http://fisher.osu.edu/news/2001/011016-noy_baseball.htm
