Local Work-at-home Mother believes in "Pay It Forward" Philosophy!
August is home business month, and I am using this PR to promote my business and the organization I'm involved in that allows me to network with other WAHM's
Brooklyn, NY business owner, Luisa Goldschlager, Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics (http://marykay.com/nygoldie), joins other Mom Packers to celebrate Augusts Home Business Month by using the Pay it Forward" philosophy!
Augusts Home Business Month offers Goldschlager a chance to reach out and bring awareness to a unique, free, program that helps put an end to feelings of isolation and fear that are often associated with running a home business.
The Mom Pack (http://themompack.com) is hosted by Lynn Korff of Korff Originals (http://korfforiginals.com). Korff started The Mom Pack when her business began to take off as a way to Pay Forward" all the wonderful help she received from other work-at-home moms. It started out as a free partnership/advertising campaign where small businesses gathered each others business information, placed them in packs, and delivered them to clients and visitors via orders, fairs, and home shows.
Over the years, The Mom Pack has grown to become both an online and off-line network of women who meet in a online forum, hosted by yahoogroups.com, to support, help build, and market each others businesses. Today, The Mom Pack has grown into an International group of women covering all 50 states, including countries such as Canada, Greece, Asia, and the Middle East. And the Pay It Forward" philosophy has not died. In fact, it has only grown stronger over the years.
I believe this network of work from home mothers are a strong example of selfless women who take time out of their already busy schedule to offer their entrepeneual spirit to others," says Goldschlager about Mompack. The support given to each of us in this forum is mirrored by the support offered from others," she adds.
The Mom Pack is about moms learning to build or grow their businesses, then turning around and paying it forward by helping others do the same. Fellow Mom Packers are not afraid of competition when they dish out help," says Korff.
The Mom Pack may be found at http://themompack.com, where one can find discussion boards, swap meets, web rings, banner rotations, and an official Mom Pack Member Business Directory.
