GRAPHICS SYSTEMS TO HOST MIDWEST SOLIDWORKS
USER CONFERENCE


Menomonee Falls, WI -- August 28, 2002 - Graphics Systems Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI is pleased to announce its first Midwest SolidWorks User Conference to be held on September 19th and 20th. The two-day long event will take place in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and will contain a host of seminars, technical and management sessions and a new-version kick-off.

David Kasinskas, President of Graphics Systems, sees the event as much more than a seminar. The goal is to come away with a clearer vision for the success of your company. As markets continue to change radically and competition intensifies, you need the support of a technology leader that is continually evolving to meet the unique challenges of today's business market."

Each day will have a strong focus. Thursday, September 19th will concentrate on Technical Efficiency. Through the entirety of the day, presentations will show users how to become more productive on SolidWorks through shortcuts, tips and tricks. Concurrently, SolidWorks solution partners will be exhibiting FEA, PDM and CAM packages and Rapid Prototyping to name just a few. Several partners will also be presenting their solutions in a seminar-fashion so attendees can get a feel for their functionality and see it in action.

Friday, September 20th will emphasize the future of both SolidWorks and the CAD industry. Keynote speaker John McEleney, CEO of SolidWorks Corporation, will kick off the day discussing the companys vision and goals, and will also host an Executive Briefing Breakfast for presidents, vice-presidents and managers. Other keynote speakers are scheduled to attend and share views on the direction of CAD. The remainder of the morning will be filled with the SolidWorks 2003" kick off. Users and potential users will have an early chance to see the new version, which promises to be filled with exciting and productive tools and functionality.
