CSS Software announces the release of version 2.20 of its popular Quick Backup file backup software.

Quick Backup is a feature rich backup solution designed for use by both the computer enthusiast and novice alike. It provides all the functionality found in much more expensive and complex backup applications while maintaining a level of usability that allows even a novice to effectively create a backup plan.

Some of the features of Quick Backup include:

> Windows Explorer integration. Create a backup job by selecting the desired files and folders and opening the job wizard from the Explorer popup menu. Restore a file by selecting the file and opening the restore wizard from the Explorer popup menu. The restore wizard will list all available versions of the file that can be restored.

> Zip compatible backup files allowing you to use your favorite Zip utility to extract files.

> Password protection on backup files for increased security.

> Backup jobs are created using a comprehensive job wizard which guides you through selecting files and folders, defining a backup schedule, adding security to the backup files, setting the backup as either incremental or complete, and defining a backup archive maintenance plan.

> Restore files using the restore wizard. This wizard lists the contents of a backup file from which you can select the files to restore. If opened from Windows Explorer for an individual file it lists all versions of the file that can be restored.

> Comprehensive log files of all backup activity. These can be viewed using the log file viewer which color-codes errors and warnings for increased readability (available in the main console).

> Includes File Sentry, which monitors selected files and creates a backup copy every time they change. File Sentry also features Windows Explorer integration, allowing you to add, edit, and delete sentries for any files you desire.
