PROTOGENT INC. UNVEILS WITH1CLICK.COM BETA SEARCH DIRECTORY VERSION 2.0
The unique DRL(TM) powered search directory enhances its technology and streamlines the interface, boosting search function.
Protogent Inc., an infrastructure software developer, announced today the unveiling of their latest update to With1Click.com, Version 2.0.
With1Click 2.0 has retained the unique Dynamic Resource Locator¨ (DRL(TM)) functionality, which allows users to initiate a search from their browser address bar, and has implemented their new Compound Value Enabler(TM) (CVE(TM)) module. This module enhances their DRL(TM) service by allowing unlimited, multiple word queries within the address bar. For example, a search for http://georgeharrison.with1click.com is analyzed by the CVE(TM) module to produce instant results for "George Harrison." Once a user enters the site they can perform additional queries on that page by using a traditional search box.
DRL(TM) works by replacing the "www" in a traditional URL with an actual search term or phrase, followed by a domain name, such as http://juniorsoccerleague.with1click.com. By initiating a query from the browser address bar, users can access information without having to first visit a home page or navigate complicated menus. DRL(TM) can make any URL dynamic, and it works in any browser without the need for plug-ins, add-ons, or downloads.
Dana Topping, co-founder and CEO, emphasizes that the With1Click beta model is intended to showcase ProtogentŐs DRL(TM) technology and to demonstrate its capabilities and effectiveness. "We do not want to compete with search engines or other search related Web sites. Rather, our goal is to enhance their services. Our Dynamic Resource Locator Protocol brings new life into the WebŐs naming conventions. The DNS system is very limiting and our DRL(TM) protocol provides many new opportunities to developers and a very simple feature for users. The closest solution currently on the market is keyword services, which are very limiting and require an affiliation with a browser provider for distribution. We developed the DRL(TM) protocol to adhere to the existing infrastructure of the Web to create a truly ubiquitous search system that is not reliant on any one particular browser."
