Singer, song-writer, performer, and long-time advocate of victims of abuse, Topp Hennessee, announces that he will donate 50% of the proceeds from his newest single, September Sky, to The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, a program of Citizens Scholarship Foundation of America TM (CSFA).
The purpose of The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund is to provide post-secondary education assistance for the in-need surviving family members of those individuals killed or permanently disabled as a result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and during the rescue activities relating to those attacks.
The goodness of America and its people shines bright in its greatest hour of need and Topp would like to congratulate the many individuals and organizations who are providing assistance for those who lost family and friends on September 11, 2001. He would love to serve them all. After much research and deliberation, The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund was chosen because it was found to be the most inclusive of all the victims and is directed by a reputable non-profit organization with a proven record.
As mentioned, this particular fund is comprehensive in its scope and will benefit the dependents of the airplane crews and passengers, World Trade Center workers and visitors, Pentagon workers and visitors, and rescue workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel.
CSFA has pledged that all contributions - 100% of the principal - will support the undergraduate education of eligible students at accredited two-and- four-year colleges, universities or technical-vocational schools based in the United States.
The program will extend to currently enrolled undergraduate students, as well as future students and is expected to continue through the year 2030.
