Cathedral of St. Philip Offers Eucharist Service September 11

Remembrance and Hope

September 2, 2002

The Cathedral of St. Philip invites visitors and the community of Atlanta to join us at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, for a special Eucharist service, to commemorate the 9/11 tragedy. The Rt. Rev. J. Neil Alexander, Bishop of Atlanta, will be the Celebrant and The Very Rev. Samuel G. Candler will preach a sermon of Remembrance and Hope. Special prayers will be offered for those who have died and for our nation. An additional Eucharist and service of healing will be celebrated at 5:45 p.m.

Those in media are welcome to attend and are requested to have all equipment set up by 11:50 a.m.
