GOLDEN SATELLITE AWARDS is the 3rd largest Movie Award show in the world. As Co-producer of last years event, Carl will be returning as it heads into its 7th year.
This show is presented yearly by the International Press Academy, a membership made up of over 240 international and national working entertainment journalists and media critics. The IPA represents all types of media: Cinema, Television, Cable, Satellite, Internet, Print and Radio. He is currently involved in production projects with the son of the late film star Raul Julia, best known for having played the lead character with Angelica Huston in the Movie 'The Addams Family, as well as Tequila Sunrise with Mel Gibson, Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer, Kiss of the Spider Woman, the Eyes of Laura Mars, Romero and many others.

JAY LENOS LOVE RIDE in Glendale co-chaired by Peter Fonda. In its 18th year, this is the largest motorcycle event for Muscular Dystrophy, attracting over 25,000 Harley Davidson Riders who get together and contribute to this cause. Over the years, the Riders have helped raise over 14 million dollars for Muscular Dystrophy.
BOB HOPES MILITARY TRIBUTE- a project initiated by 4 World War II veterans and supported by such illustrious Board Members ad President Gerald Ford, Senator John McCain, Brooke Shields, Connie Stevens, Johnny Grant- Mayor of Hollywood, and many others...
The Bob Hope Military Tribute is a project to create a very unique monument on the San Diego waterfront. The skyline of San Diego will be the foreground on a park like setting adjacent to the USS Midway Floating Museum. We are working to generate 10 million dollars to fund the Hope Tribute within the next few years through star-studded entertainment events, corporate sponsorships and public supported donations.

Carls latest project is THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE UNITED NATIONS PROJECT.
After World War II, the worlds leaders created the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a means to re-establish the democratic values and standards that are the basis for human rights throughout the world, and to prevent the possibility of mankind ever suffering again, as it had during that time. As of today, representatives of virtually every nation in the world have ratified this document. However, despite the fact that it guarantees human rights and a decent life for every citizen on this planet, almost 97% of the worlds population is unaware of its existence.
The projects goal is to create a game for all artists, entertainment executives and art patrons of the world to promote the message and the values expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Thus, through their creations, connections and donations create a civilization without Human Rights abuses, without war, and without insanity. Says Urbin we will achieve this by creating Human Rights Festivals for movie, music, art as well as by creating a portal like ebay to promote the project and to educate the individual and the world about Human Rights."
