K3's ERP Order Wins Top 500,000

K3 Business Technology Group has started the second half of the year with a 500,000 bumper crop of orders for IBS, the company's Mid-Market ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution.

Amongst the new customers is Celuform of Aylesford in Kent. The multi-million pound company manufactures and supplies PVC-ue low maintenance building materials to stockists across Europe and the UK. Celuform has ordered a 35-user IBS licence to replace an ageing MFG/Pro installation.

John Bancroft, Project Manager with Celuform commented "We invited the five major ERP players in the UK to bid and, after an exhaustive selective process, K3 clearly had the best total solution which addressed both our current operational issues and future expansion requirements. The evaluation approach from K3 was also more professional and it is a company better positioned to partner us over the foreseeable future."

Vickers Specialist Engines is replacing its Epicor system with a 32-user IBS licence. VSE is a leading company in the design, manufacture, repair, overhaul and support of diesel engines and equipment for the battlefield and marine markets. VSE is based in Crewe, Cheshire, and has a tight implementation schedule. It aims to be live by November.

Superior Tube of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, selected IBS in favour of IFS when looking for a major new system to control the manufacture of tubing at its US plant. The company is a world leader in the production of close tolerance, small diameter metal tubing.

Andy Makeham, K3's CEO commented: "We are delighted to continue to win major new business orders in what is a very tough market. It cannot be a coincidence that these decisions coincide with publication of the Benchmark Report which flags K3 as one of the best customer service providers in the sector."
