General Manager Mike O'Hagan said:
"Most technology projects run late. Most internet software projects run late. The Local Channel is too important to be delayed. We're delighted with the efforts put in by all our suppliers. The Team at The Local Channel have been working flat out to make sure that Phase 2 will be ready on time. We can't afford to disappoint all the people who want to get on & use our service to connect their community."
From 15th October local communities throughout the UK will be able to meet in their own space to discuss and decide on the issues that matter to them.
