NYRock.com/Kipp Elbaum are presenting an R&B showcase on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at one of New York Citys hottest venues, Arlene Grocery. Entitled Sugar Jones Rock 'n Soul Spectacular," the show will feature some of the most talented R&B and rock acts in the area. The line-up includes Martha Redbone (winner of the 2002 Fifth Annual Native American Music Award), Reese (who has appeared on the CBS Early Show and has opened for Lauryn Hill, Earth Wind & Fire, and Chaka Khan) and Joy Ryder (who has recorded for RCA and Polydor Records and has performed with Les Paul, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Ron Wood and many others).
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Admission is $5.00. Full line-up follows:
