Electronic Arts UK Location Selects STR Software to Integrate Automated Fax and Email Delivery System

STR Software was awarded a second contract from Electronic Arts (EA), makers of interactive home entertainment software such as Madden NFL and The Sims. STR Software had initially implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX platforms, at the companys headquarters in California. This second license and installation involved the UK operation in London.

RICHMOND, VA -- SEPTEMBER 23, 2002 -- STR Software was awarded a second contract from Electronic Arts (EA), makers of interactive home entertainment software such as Madden NFL and The Sims. STR Software had initially implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX platforms, at the companys headquarters in California. This second license and installation involved the UK operation in London.

The London office will also incorporate the AventX Oracle Connector and AventX Mail to enable its users to email purchase orders from within an Oracle environment. The UK facility chose the AventX product suite based on the recommendation of its headquarters location as well as due to the products ability to handle multiple language requirements and its unique interface to Oracle E-Business Suite.
