The original Southern California lobster festival has arrived!!!. Join us this weekend, September 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2002 in Redondo Beach inside the King Harbor Seaside Lagoon. We have a new look, added attractions and vast improvements to enhance your experience at the all new Redondo Beach Lobster Festival. This 3-day event will feature a football-field size fairground with our new family friendly attractions including carnival rides for children & teens, a delicious array of restaurant vendors ranging from Cajun, Seafood, Italian, Asian, Latin and of course Maine lobsters.
On Friday, September 27, 2002, its "Singles Night" with live cover bands performing from sunset into the night taking you on an interplanetary journey back to the 70's & 80's. Mix it with a massive gathering of some of the largest singles organizations along with TV Show Blind Date" for your chance to be on TV.
Saturday, September 28, 2002, will feature headliners from Rock 'n' Roll, R&B, Blues to Top40 and Dance. Contemporary high energy bands playing originals and cover songs featuring our weekend headliner Dick Dale. A party for all the family and friends and dancing till you drop.
On Sunday, September 29, 2002, a soothing brunch with all that jazz, from Latin to classic headlining Jazz bands bringing you a fusion of yesterday's hits and today's essentials. Along with radio stations like The Wave 94.7FM and KLON 89.9FM jazz stations. Relax to a picnic style meal and spend the day enjoying the warm sun and endless jazz.
Newly added is our childrens stage and kids interactive area providing parents some comfort and kids plenty to do. Plus, for the first time ever, a full-blown carnival area offering a Ferris wheel, teen activities and carnival rides, gaming booths, an arcade area, and much more. An array of performers from street performers and kid bands to cultural performances and educational speakers on two Stages featuring:
