Object Fusion Introduces ReliaGolf for Palm M500
Fairfax, Virginia - July 29, 2002 - Starting today, Object Fusion, Inc. is shipping ReliaGolf for the Palm M500 series PDA to allow golfers to utilize the GPS satellite system with detailed course information for most courses in the United States.
ReliaGolf is Palm V/Vx and now a M500 series attachment that golfers carry with them while they play golf. Golfers can download detailed course information from the Internet for over 16,000 golf courses in the United States. ReliaGolf tells golfers how far they are from targets, hazards, and sections of greens, and how targets play taking into account the wind, elevation, temperature, and altitude. It also gives golfers standard functions such as scoring and tracks club distance and variation.
"Up to now, golfers with the new M500 Palm PDAs can't take advantage of the latest GPS technology that provides highly accurate distance and elevation information, "says Dave von Hausen, founder of Object Fusion.
