MICRONPC INTRODUCES TRIO OF NETFRAME SERVERS NetFRAME 1600, 2600, and 3600 Servers feature Intel Xeon Processors

New product launch of MicronPC's NetFRAME 1600, 2600, and 3600 servers, which are upgrades from the NetFRAME 1500, 2500, and 3550 servers. Summaries, sample configurations and prices included.

September 23, 2002 -- Nampa, Idaho -- MicronPC, a Gores Technology Group company, today introduced the new NetFRAME 1600, 2600 and 3600 servers, which replace the companys NetFRAME 1500, 2500 and 3550 servers. These new servers incorporate the Intel Xeon processors, which is Intels high performance processor optimized for server applications.

The rack optimized NetFRAME 1600 and 2600 offer the highest density servers available from MicronPC, and appeal to IT professionals who are looking for high performance, reliability and space efficiency. The NetFRAME 3600 is a general-purpose server designed for small businesses or workgroups of larger organizations. This trio of servers features dual Intelâ Xeonä processors with Hyper-Threading Technology, up to 12 GB of DDR 266 memory, and PCI-X expansion.

NetFRAME 1600 -- At 1U high, the NetFRAME 1600 is MicronPC's highest density server, allowing up to 42 servers in one standard rack. Features include:
