TwinBridge Unveils Chinese/Japanese/Korean Partner 6.0 for Windows XP/2000;
Software Enables Asian Text Processing on English Windows

Monterey Park, CA (September 25, 2002) -- Asian language software developer TwinBridge Software Corporation announced today the release of its CJK Partner Version 6.0 for Windows XP and 2000. Available in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and combined CJK editions, the latest version of TwinBridges multilingual series is specifically engineered to work seamlessly with applications in Windows XP and 2000.

With powerful features and intuitive interface, the software enables Chinese/Japanese/Korean input and display in all language versions of Windows environment. It is compatible with major applications on the market, such as those in Microsoft Office. Users can work with their familiar programs, enabled by the CJK Partners language support, to write articles, compose e-mail and prepare spread sheets -- in Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

Version 6.0 is the most extensive upgrade of the CJK Partner in recent years. Many features are further standardized to be in keeping with the Windows development trend and Unicode requirements. Chief among the improvements are:

•   Enhanced Stability and User-Friendliness: TwinBridges input method editor (IME) is now integrated with the Windows Language Bar, ensuring stable and convenient operation in Asian language input.

•   Automatic detection of cursor/IME mode: When typing a CJK/English mixed document, the user does not have to manually switch back and forth between CJK and English fonts; and there is no slippage" in cursor positioning.

•   Perfect Alignment and Hyphenation: Text will always be properly wrapped" and aligned in a Unicode document.

•   Supports Asian Language File Naming: File names can be saved in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.

•   Extensive Built-in Help Contents: The Help section in the software has been streamlined and presented in Web view style for easy navigation; and the contents are expanded to meet every need of users.

The CJK Partner Version 6.0 supports the applications in Microsoft Office, which includes Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, FrontPage, and Access. Other applications compatible with the product include: WordPad, Notepad, Publisher 2002, PhotoShop 6.0, PageMaker 7.0, Sun StarOffice 6.0, MSN Messenger, etc. as well as such e-mail programs as Outlook Express, Eudora 5.0, and Netscape 6.x.

The new version is for Windows XP and 2000 only. Users of Windows Me/98 can contact TwinBridge for an appropriate version of the CJK Partner.
