ROBILL Products Announces Grant of Patent for Satellite System
NEO's have been in the news recently. In June, a large object passed between the earth and the moon but was not noticed until two or three days afterwards. ROBILL's satellite system would probably not have let that happen.
RIDGEWOOD, New Jersey, - September 27, 2002 - ROBILL Products today announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 6,452,538 covering a satellite system for monitoring space. ROBILL's technology (looking OUT for you®) creates a low cost system providing astronomical and near earth orbiting object (NEO) information for subscribers through the internet and by direct transfer. NEO's include asteroids, comets and related fragments and debris.
NEO's have been in the news recently. In June, a large object passed between the earth and the moon but was not noticed until two or three days after its closest approach. ROBILL's system is designed to locate these objects much earlier, and represents the first practical means for monitoring such bodies on a continuous basis.
