Now Featuring 2-Way Synchronization with Microsoft Project 2000 And Browser-Based Process Designer

New Features in Version 3.5
SpeeDEVs end-to end management of the engineering process handles the entire development cycle, starting with requirements gathering and ending with issues management, product release and release management. Version 3.5 includes three important new features to make designing and managing engineering projects more manageable and efficient from a business perspective:

·   Roundtrip synchronization with Microsoft Project 2000.
o   Project Managers can export project details from SpeeDEV to Microsoft Project, modify them as desired, and then import and update the SpeeDEV project, along with views of the Gantt charts.
o   Optionally, the Microsoft Project integration can be executed in a hands-off mode for tasks such as load leveling. In this situation, the export and import functions are handled entirely by SpeeDEV.

·   Browser Based, Drag-and-Drop Visual Process Designer.
o   An intuitive icon-based, drag and drop method to design the process workflow for issues and requirements, which then becomes a visual representation of the process, and the final executable.
o   The visual designer allows an organization to design, implement, enforce and automate the most appropriate process for the organization or a project, unlike some industry solutions where one is forced to follow a 'one size fits all process.

·   Detailed Time-sheet Feature
o   Allows project managers and their clients the ability to track the precise breakdown of the time spent on each task by each project member, greatly enhancing the tracking and monitoring of time invested in each task.

Six Integrated Modules for Managing Development Projects End-to-End
SpeeDEV 3.5 comprises six separate applications in tightly integrated suite of solutions for designing and managing any engineering process from beginning to end. These modules include:
