NHI ANNOUNCES GENERAL AVAILABILITY OF OPERATION CENTER" VER. 1.0

Automated performance and fault management system that bridges the gap between the Network Operation Center (NOC) and the Help Desk

San Diego, CA -- September 27th, 2002 -- NETWORK HARMONi, Inc., a developer of solutions for monitoring IT infrastructure, today announced the general availability of NHIs Operation Center 1.0. NETWORK HARMONis Operation Center is an out of the box" solution that monitors application, network, client/server system, security and end-user performance and reports fault conditions in real-time in order to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

NHIs Operation Center provides a centralized, web-based view of an organizations entire IT Infrastructure. It automatically detects network elements, resolves client/server topology dependencies, and baselines performance thresholds. When performance of any element drops below a one of these baseline thresholds, an event is generated and information relating to this event is recorded in a system snapshot". Operation Center will automatically generate trouble tickets in NHIs self-contained help desk, provide the snapshot" information needed to triage the problem and closes the ticket after the problem is resolved. If you already have a help desk, Operation Center trouble tickets can be automatically routed to these applications for centralized management.

We are very excited to be announcing the general availability of Operation Center" comments Daniel Tautges, NHIs Vice President. BMC Softwares recent announcement of their intent to acquire Remedy from Peregrine validates our product strategy with Operation Center. It isnt enough to just find and report on IT problems, customers want integrated solutions that help manage the process of resolving these problems, and resolving them fast. Operation Center delivers on that strategy today, at a very affordable price point."

Operation Center is a real bargain for enterprises seeking effective, easy-to-install-and-use software with oceanic depth." adds Dennis Drogseth, director with Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). Integration with trouble-ticket systems, such as Peregrines Remedy, will help complete its role as a bridge between the help desks and operations centers."

NETWORK HARMONis Operation Center 1.0 is available for immediate shipping. Pricing for Operation Center starts at $15,000. For more information on Operation Center or to find a distributor or reseller in your area, please see the NETWORK HARMONi website at http://www.networkharmoni.com.
