INO/Resonate Records Artist Jason Ingram
Returns from Summer International Tour

NASHVILLE, TNÑOctober 1, 2002ÑChristian recording artist Jason Ingram, co-writer of the top ten hits ÒResonateÓ from Sonicflood and his own ÒRestore MeÓ, has recently returned from a summer international tour that took him from Latin America to Asia. ÒTo take my music outside the borders of America was a huge blessing,Ó Jason says.

The first leg of JasonÕs international tour took him to Latin America where he split his time between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Mexico City, and Monterrey, Mexico. ÒWhat I discovered was how similar we are in our passion for worship. They love to sing and they love to worship. Their worship services are 3 hours long and what kept it interesting was that there were 1000 people singing, dancing, and praying all togetherÉit was simply amazing,Ó Jason adds.

The last ten days of the tour took Jason to Evangelical Community Church (ECC), the largest English speaking church in Hong Kong. There he led worship at all services. During the week he spent time at Hong Kong International School (HKIS) where he was able to minister to the middle school of close to 1500 kids.

The students represent countries from all over the world and include the largest American student population in Hong Kong. Jason states, ÒHKIS is pluralistic in their beliefs. They teach that there are many paths that lead to Ôgod.Õ Only the one and true God can open up doors like that for us to be able to host the chapel services each day and also get to sing and share our faith in the students classrooms. ThatÕs where we really connected with them, including the teachers.Ó

Jason continues, ÒWe were invited to a religions class taught by a Hindu. We shared about how the God of the Bible was the only true God and how we had an authentic relationship with Him. We were invited back the next day to share with his other class. Only God can do things like that.Ó

ÒThe school has requested that we return next year and continue to share with their students our music and what God has done in our lives. All glory to Him,Ó concludes Jason.

Son of nationally syndicated radio host and new President and CEO of Walk Thru The Bible Ministries, Chip Ingram, Jason released his self-entitled solo project earlier this year. His music can be found in Christian bookstores nationwide and he is currently opening for Sonicflood on their fall tour.
