Smith-Blair Selects STR Software to Integrate Automated Faxing in Oracle E-Business Suite

STR Software was awarded a contract from Smith-Blair of Texarkana, Ark. STR Software has implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX platforms, at the companys headquarters. Smith-Blair will also use the AventX Oracle Connector to send its documents directly from Oracle E-Business Suite, a host business software application.

RICHMOND, VA -- OCTOBER 3, 2002 -- STR Software was awarded a contract from Smith-Blair, manufacturer of pipe repair fitting for global water, gas and industrial markets. STR Software has implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX platforms, at the companys headquarters in Texarkana, Ark. Smith-Blair will also use the AventX Oracle Connector to send its documents directly from Oracle E-Business Suite, a host business software application. In addition, the company chose AventX Forms Design and Integration to format its purchase orders, invoices, statements and acknowledgements. Smith-Blair picked the AventX product suite for its capacity to create and automate the companys documents easily and inexpensively within an Oracle environment.
