World renowned slide guitarist and general blues fusion merchant Michael Messer announces the release of his latest album 'Second Mind' on October 21st via Catfish Records.

Michael Messer is one the the world's finest slide guitar players. His diverse and innovative approach to blues music has been garninging plaudits and admirers across the musical spectrum since the release of 2001's 'King Guitar' album. Catfish are delighted to announce the release of 'Second Mind, the brand new studio album from Michael Messer. It follows the widespread success of 2001s 'King Guitar album that established Messer as one of the most respected slide guitarists and roots music innovators around.

This highly anticipated album was recorded with a band stocked with world-class musicians including Ruby Turner on backing vocals, ( Culture Club, Bryan Ferry, Mick Jagger, Steve Winwood, Jools Holland ) and Richard Causon on keyboards (Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, Whiskytown, Alanis Morrisette ).

In 'Second Mind, Michael has dreamed up and delivered a set of recordings that stretch across the musical landscape.
