Bluewater Ventures Announces Revolutionary Operator-Assisted Yellow Pages

Bluewater Ventures launching revolutionary operator-assisted yellow pages to be tested in the Portland, OR market before expanding nationwide.

PORTLAND, OR - October 4, 2002 - Bluewater Ventures announced today the companys plans to launch an operator-assisted yellow page service called the 'New Wave Directory that could change the way we think of, and use, a phonebook.

Similar to, but light-years ahead of, traditional 411-directory assistance; operators in the New Wave Directory call center can look up businesses based on general keywords such as auto parts, landscaping, electronics etc...

The operator will also input the callers location as an intersection, street address etc... and the results will be returned in order closest to the callers location. The operator will then read the list and the caller will choose which listing to be transferred to and/or hear turn-by-turn driving directions to the business which the operator can briefly read before transferring.

Bluewater Ventures plans to test the New Wave Directory in the Portland, OR market before expanding the model into every major city in the country. The Portland launch is scheduled for early 2004.
