Fully portable sound system reaches audiences up to 5,000 indoors or out, optional built-in CD or cassette tape player, 16 channel UHF wireless guarantees crystal clear speaking voice without interference - GSA# GS-35F-0075L
TORRANCE, CALIF. -- Anchor Audio, Inc. -- the industry leader for over 25 years in portable sound systems -- announces its new Xtreme 6000, the first portable sound system which is flexible enough to support up to six UHF wireless microphones. The Xtreme 6000 (GSA# GS-35F-0075L) delivers full range music and intelligible speech from one, self-contained portable sound system that is designed for users with no technical knowledge. Xtreme 6000 is designed for change of command ceremonies, presentations in an auditorium, field training exercises, emergency crowd control, or even firing range instruction.
Until now, UHF wireless has been available only at high-end prices for entertainment industry users. However, Anchor Audio is breaking new ground by offering the 16 channel UHF wireless at the same price as the single channel VHF. Because the UHF is selectable, a simple flip of a dial on the microphone and receiver eliminates any chance of interference from local broadcasting sources.
Maximum flexibility is achieved because the system features modular design. The basic unit includes one built-in wireless receiver and, if the customer later decides to add one or two additional wireless microphones, they can order modules and slip them into option slots built into the base unit. Up to three additional external wireless receivers can be plugged into the Xtreme system, which combined with the three installed receivers, allows up to six wireless microphones to be used simultaneously.
With the optional built-in CD or cassette tape player, customers can add rich, full range music to the Xtreme sound system. Special anti-shock mounting ensures the CD will not skip, even if the system is at full power - pumping out 123 decibels of sound. The built-in CD or tape player can be coupled with one built-in wireless receiver. Anchor sound systems move between music and speech modes at the flip of a switch on the back panel. The speech projection" mode provides an added punch to the human voice to avoid that garbled, drowning sound so common in lesser quality sound systems.
A matching companion speaker can be connected to the Xtreme to double its output. This feature is used to reach audiences up to 5,000 in large capacity venues such as stadiums or conference centers. The cost of the companion speaker is a fraction of the cost of the base Xtreme unit, thus allowing for a doubling of output without doubling the cost.
