ConferenceCall.com Signs Multi-Year AT&T Contract
CARROLLTON, Texas - July 1, 2002 - After extensive negotiations, ConferenceCall.com announced the signing of a multi-year, multimillion-dollar contract with AT&T to expand its existing toll-free inbound long distance services.
The agreement includes the addition of several new DS3 circuits (each DS3 equates to 675 lines), which will expand capacity at both the company's main and redundant locations. This is ConferenceCall.com's third expansion in the past year, thanks in part to a boom in business that has outpaced industry projections. Previous expansions include the addition of a redundant location in downtown Dallas, as well as an increase in capacity to both locations earlier this year. CEO and founder Kevin Scherer stated, "With the addition of AT&T lines to our system, we can run calls through multiple carriers as needed. This, in combination with our expansive capacity and redundant technology, increases our stability yet again. Clients can feel comfortable knowing that we are dedicated to making their conferencing as convenient, secure, and steady as possible."
