CARROLLTON, TX - September 16, 2002 - ConferenceCall.com has announced plans to participate in the 4th Annual Sandman Bed Race on October 26th, 2002, in Deep Ellum, a popular section of Dallas' downtown area. The company is also funding the participation of two race teams consisting of employees from ConferenceCall.com. Each team will consist of four enthusiastic competitors pushing a bed (on wheels) with a fearless passenger riding on top in a 100-yard dash down Main Street. The money raised will help fulfill the needs of the 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. diagnosed with diseases for which a stem cell transplant is required.

Each year the National Marrow Donor Program holds this local fundraiser to help pay for the testing required to match donors with patients in need of marrow transplants.    Because only thirty percent of those in need of a transplant will find a matching donor within their family, it is very important to help the other seventy percent.
