CARROLLTON, Texas - October 1, 2001 - Due to the events of September 11, clients are revisiting their travel plans and considering teleconferencing as a replacement for existing travel arrangements.

Jumping at the challenge, ConferenceCall.com founder and CEO Kevin Scherer called in a favor from the manufacturer of the company's conferencing bridge and ordered $300,000 worth of new equipment for delivery within two weeks. ConferenceCall.com was able to call on our newly announced 'redundant location' for immediate use in this emergency situation. The vendor installed, tested, and made ready the order within the tight deadline and the client was able to hold its meeting using ConferenceCall.com's services. The meeting was so successful that the client booked another company-wide teleconference that is scheduled to take place in 2002.
