MIT Lincoln Laboratory Awards Contract to STR Software
STR Software was recently awarded a contract from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Lincoln Laboratory. STR Software has implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX operating systems, at the lab's facilities in Lexington, Mass.
RICHMOND, VA -- OCTOBER 9, 2002 -- STR Software was recently awarded a contract from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Lincoln Laboratory. STR Software has implemented AventX UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing from UNIX operating systems, at the lab's facilities in Lexington, Mass. Lincoln Laboratory will also use the AventX SAP Connector and the hardware-free AventX Mail Plus delivery channel to enable its users to email documents directly from SAP, an enterprise resource planning software application. The Laboratory chose the AventX product suite due to its ability to integrate with its SAP environment and with the centers existing FAXCOM fax server.
STR Software of Richmond, Va., develops, markets and supports software products in electronic information delivery for host ERP applications. The company provides information retrieval, report design and creation, and delivery via a variety of channels including server-based faxing, email, direct email and outsourcing through an application service provider.
