West Linn, Ore., October 2, 2002-- TRaC Associates today introduced the TransVu Rear Projection Semi-Transparent Film, a revolutionary new technology that delivers high contrast, high resolution images while allowing a view of the environment behind the display. TransVu displays 16 Million colors, and delivers an incredible contrast ratio of 250:1. Perfect for projecting images in applications such as retail, trade shows, museums, corporate lobbies, visual merchandising, and digital signage, where environmental light and depth of vision is still needed. TransVu offers users the unique opportunity to display semi-transparent images on glass and other see-through surfaces.

TransVu, a unique flexible film, displays an unprecedented picture for rear projection see through applications without pixels or color shifts. It is seamless, available in standard and custom sizes up to 100" diagonal or in bulk rolls. It can also be easily cut to any shape desired like circles, triangles etc.

Installation is a snap because the film is flexible, portable, and weighs less than 1 ounce per square foot. TransVu is impervious to water, not susceptible to ultra-violet or infra-red light and has a temperature range of up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be cleaned like any other window treatment.
