Papa Press Launches New Website

Seattle, WA -- October 7, 2002 -- Papa Press, an Internet based company, publishes and sells fiction and non-fiction books via its website including books written by previously unpublished authors.

Papa Press utilizes a print-on-demand business model that eliminates inventory and significantly lowers the barrier to entry for unpublished authors. While it has always been difficult for unpublished authors to break through the barriers and get published, the trend over recent years has been for those barriers to become even more formidable. While Papa Press does desire to also publish books written by authors who have already been published, the companys strategy is designed to significantly lower the barriers and risks associated with publishing the work of first time authors.

Papa Press has launched its website and currently publishes and sells two fiction books, a business thriller entitled Hostile Takeover, by Robert K. Bennett, and another mystery thriller, entitled Murder On The Run, by Robert L. Kellogg. The company plans to publish and sell six additional titles written by previously unpublished authors by the fourth quarter of 2002.

The new website takes on a simplistic approach, providing available book titles for sale and including instructions for aspiring writers to submit synopses of their fiction or non-fiction work for publishing consideration. Papa Press, the new face of book publishing, partners with unpublished authors and affords them the opportunity to have their fiction and non-fiction books published and sold, while receiving monthly royalties on their sales, with no cost to the author.
