Fondaction invests two million dollars in Elix

The investment will help Elix to realize its business plan

Montreal, Quebec, October 8th 2002 -- Fondaction, the CSN labour-sponsored fund, announces an investment of two million dollars in Elix, expert in turnkey solutions for computer-telephony integration, interactive voice response, speech recognition, customer relationship management, and fax. Fondactions investment will contribute to Elixs business plan realization and will be used to improve workforce, support product and research development, and contribute to the deployment of marketing activities in the North American market.

Founded in May 2000, following the merger of PRIMA and MediaSoft Telecom Inc., two equally prominent leaders in contact center solutions and interactive communication software, Elix has 14 years of experience in the field. Elixs mission is to strive to excel in delivering comprehensive software that eases implementation and management of automated customer interaction applications and empowers organizations to maximize customer lifetime value.
